SARAH BEALS SAGER

Coach | Librarian | Ph.D. Student

Hi, I'm Sarah.

I own Teal Legacies, a coaching business where I help people empower themselves professionally and personally. I specialize in the professions of themed entertainment, academics, and libraries. I also use pop culture and geek culture to coach nerdy lifestyles.

With a background in marketing, a master's degree in anthropology, and a master's in library and information science, I am interning at the Walt Disney Company managing their marketing assets.

In my current studies, I attend the Univerisity of Central Florida in their Texts and Technology program. I research storytelling in theme parks, specifically their inclusiveness and accessibility.

Thank you for visiting.

2018-2020

Graduate Student

Library & Information Science and Anthropology, University of Denver

I started and completed two masters degrees in two years. My MLIS degree focused on archives and special libraries, my MA in anthropology is in museum and heritage studies. Both of my final projects are about theme parks.

2016-2018

Motion Graphic Designer

I made videos, animations, and still images. I learned more storytelling techniques. But I missed themed entertainment and decided to apply for graduate school.

2015-2016

Walt Disney World (again)

Custodial & Cosmetology, Florida
I explored Disney's parks more than before. I joined the themed entertainment community and fell in love. I also ran a half-marathon.

2012-2014

Events/Design/Exhibits

University of Montana

I coordinated a fundraising art fair, designed promotional posters for events, and lead an exhibit building team. I learned software, communication, and the importance of a positive work atmosphere.

2010-2014

University Student

BA Media Arts, University of Montana

I also minored in Irish studies and theater. I studied abroad in Ireland, and graduated with high honors.  Missoula made me an artist.

2012

Disney College Program

Merchandise, Florida

I worked retail in three theme parks. I took classes in creativity and heritage. I made friends with people from all over the world. Disney confirmed my love of theme parks.
